Head of School Search
In April of 2022, Steve Lovejoy notified the Board of Trustees of his decision to resign as Head of School. With appreciation, the Board accepted his resignation and named Amy Whitley as Acting Head of School, effective June 1, 2022.
Appointing our next Head of School is one of the Board of Trustees’ most important responsibilities. To that end, we have assembled a Head of School Search Committee, chaired by St. Francis parent and Board member Maggie Stacy. We have also engaged the search firm The Education Group (TEG) and are confident that the firm’s 32 years of experience in executive searches and their collective understanding of Episcopal parish schools will be a huge asset.
With record enrollment numbers, excellent academic, athletic, and arts programs, and the inaugural graduating senior class, St. Francis Episcopal School is well-positioned to attract premier head of school candidates.
