Seventh-Grade History Teacher's Research Shapes Global Views
Congratulations to seventh-grade world history teacher Jared Staller, who presented his research paper at Harvard University this month. In his paper, "Complementarity and Composite Politics: An Historical Discourse of Powers in Kongo," Dr. Staller offers a new way of narrating the history of Kongo that is more authentically African and less tied to European notions of power and politics. Whether he's teaching in the classroom or shaping global perspective on centuries-old research, Dr. Staller inspires a love of learning in all who cross his path. Well done!
