“I truly believe that this school makes a lasting impression on children and helps them develop into the kind of young adults we need in the world—confident, well educated, and possessing an interior compass that guides them to do what they know is right for themselves and others.”
—Stacy M. ’84, parent
For more than 60 years, St. Francis Episcopal School has been shaping young scholars through spirited discourse and enthusiastic inquiry, in an environment that emphasizes both scholastic excellence and emotional growth. Our school combines rigorous academics and thoughtful religious instruction with competitive athletics, superb fine arts, advanced technological instruction, and service and outreach programs to create a truly inspired education.
Rather than just STEM, we base our program on ESTEAM—Episcopal identity, science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics—and craft each child’s classroom and curricular experience to meet individual learning needs and styles. Through a project-based approach, students learn to embrace problem solving, logic, and critical and creative thinking, as well as to be “people for others,” incorporating passion for service and compassion for others into every aspect of their lives.
Policy of Non-discrimination
St. Francis affirms the dignity and worth of each individual and celebrates the rich diversity of human society. We recognize that diversity encompasses differences in gender, race, religion, age, ethnicity, physical ability, family composition and socioeconomic circumstances, as well as differences in aptitude, talent and learning style. As such, we welcome students of any race, color, nationality and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally made available to students at the school. We do not discriminate on any of these bases in the administration of our educational and admissions policies, scholarships, or athletics and other school-administered programs.
