Meet the Admissions Team
|Head of Admissions and Enrollment Management, Morgan Scoville doesn’t just endorse independent school education, he’s lived it. The Nashville native attended high school at St. Andrew’s School in Delaware, then returned to the Episcopal boarding school right out of college to work his way up to associate director of admission and financial aid. “I’ve always believed in independent schools, because it comes down to one word: relationships,” says Mr. Scoville. “Schools like St. Francis are where children know they will be welcomed, loved, challenged—and inspired to reach their full potential.” |
They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If so, then Kathryn Spinelli's years as a St. Francis Spanish teacher—and today as assistant head of admissions—stand as the biggest compliment of all. A school alumna herself, Ms. Spinelli says she was fortunate to have wonderful teachers at St. Francis and The Kinkaid School growing up. “I wanted to make a difference in children's lives just as those teachers did in mine," she explains.
