When Jennifer Glover joined St. Francis as head of admissions and enrollment management in 2019, she brought with her 12 years of experience directing admissions efforts in independent schools. She was director of admissions at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA, and admissions director for The Regis School of the Sacred Heart here in Houston, where she increased school enrollment by 35 percent over three years, exceeding the goal set by the school’s Strategic Planning Committee. She also has more than a decade of experience teaching elementary and middle school grades.

If so, then Kathryn Spinelli's years as a St. Francis Spanish teacher—and today as assistant head of admissions—stand as the biggest compliment of all. A school alumna herself, Ms. Spinelli says she was fortunate to have wonderful teachers at St. Francis and The Kinkaid School growing up. “I wanted to make a difference in children's lives just as those teachers did in mine," she explains.
