Middle School Admissions (Grades 5–8)

To begin the admissions process, please create an account in the Veracross admissions portal.

The online application includes: demographic information, parent and student questionnaires, student essays, applicant photo and application fee. To be considered an applicant by the December 15 deadline, the demographic information and the application fee must be submitted. All remaining application components must be submitted by the February 1 file completion deadline. 

Families new to St. Francis are encouraged to attend an Admissions Tour. Current families do not need to attend but are welcome to join. Weekday tours are intended for parents only. Prospective students will have their own opportunities to visit campus throughout the admissions process. 

Students are required to have a conversation with a member of the Middle School administration. The Admissions Office will schedule this opportunity once the application has been submitted. 

A recommendation form must be submitted from the current math and English teachers. 
We suggest waiting until November so the teachers have the opportunity to get to know your child.

Applicants also have the option to submit one special interest form.

The transcript must include grades from the previous two academic years and current fall semester or first trimester.  

Applicants to fifth through eighth grades are required to submit standardized test scores for admission. Applicants must take the ISEE (Independent Schools Entrance Exam). The ISEE school code for St. Francis Episcopal is 447791.

Students will have the opportunity to visit classes and meet students. Details will be communicated by the Admissions Office in December.
