Primary School Admissions (Ages 2-4)

To begin the admissions process, please create an account in the Veracross admissions portal. Please note the following age requirements: 

• Pre-Primary applicants must be 2 years old by September 1 of the year they enter Pre-Primary. 
• Primary I applicants must be 3 years old by September 1 of the year they enter Primary I.
• Primary II applicants must be 4 years old by September 1 of the year they enter Primary II. 
   

The online application is due December 15 and includes: demographic information, parent and student questionnaires, applicant photo and application fee. To be considered an applicant by the December 15 deadline, these items must be submitted. All remaining application components must be submitted by the February 1 file completion deadline.

Families new to St. Francis are encouraged to attend an Admissions Tour. Current families do not need to attend but are welcome to join. Weekday tours are intended for parents only. Prospective students will have their own opportunities to visit campus throughout the admissions process.

• Your current teacher must submit the teacher recommendation form. 
• We suggest waiting until November so the teacher has the opportunity to get to know your child.
• If your child is not currently enrolled in preschool or Mother's Day Out, please send an email to Admissions@StFrancisHouston.org to have this requirement waived.
   

A group student visit is required and details will be communicated in December by the Admissions Office. 

Primary II candidates must take the WPPSI (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence). The report will be sent directly to St. Francis Episcopal.
