Drama

The St. Francis Performing Arts program challenges students to be self-disciplined, work collaboratively, stay focused, and believe in their talents.

Whether in a creative drama class, a school musical rehearsal, a Brown Bag dance performance, a student film, or in the backstage scenic design space, students develop and refine ensemble, movement, acting, improvisation, and design skills. The program offers students numerous performance opportunities in plays and musical productions. Students may explore other theatre production aspects, such as technical theatre and stage management with instructional faculty and guest artists.

The St. Francis theatre program strives to inspire students to strengthen their imagination, become strong communicators, and gain a deeper understanding of the history of dramatic storytelling and practice as an art form.
