 Jennifer Glover |
When Jennifer Glover joined St. Francis as head of admissions and enrollment management in 2019, she brought with her 12 years of experience directing admissions efforts in independent schools. She was director of admissions at St. John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA, and admissions director for The Regis School of the Sacred Heart here in Houston, where she increased school enrollment by 35 percent over three years, exceeding the goal set by the school’s Strategic Planning Committee. She also has more than a decade of experience teaching elementary and middle school grades. |
 Pamela McSorley |
Since 2006, Pamela McSorley shared her trademark diligence, compassion, and loyalty with the St. Francis front office, serving as a mentor to fellow administrative assistants on campus. As admissions office manager, she is responsible for coordinating and maintaining efficient operations within the admissions department. Previously, she served as director of administrative services at St. Francis, coordinating events and initiatives for the Head of School. |
Upper School Division
 Steven Scales

This relatable adviser is the guiding light set to illuminate the path to higher education for our Upper School students. Steven Scales joined St. Francis in 2017 with nearly a decade of college counseling experience. Mr. Scales received his master’s degree in education from Harvard University, where he trained in school leadership, educational testing, economics of colleges and universities, and financial resource management for nonprofits. His career in college counseling began on a high note at Episcopal High School when he was named a top 10 finalist for the Naviance Excellence in Leadership Award, which recognizes leaders in education who are preparing students for college and beyond. This witty scholar’s career continued to flourish as associate director of college counseling at Worcester Academy. A member of both the Texas and National Association for College Admission Counseling, he developed a comprehensive scheme that introduced high school students to workshops, conferences, and new programming at Parish Episcopal School. |
Lower and Middle School Division
Kathryn Spinelli '90 | They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. If so, then Kathryn Spinelli's years as a St. Francis Spanish teacher—and today as assistant head of admissions—stand as the biggest compliment of all. A school alumna herself, Ms. Spinelli says she was fortunate to have wonderful teachers at St. Francis and The Kinkaid School growing up. “I wanted to make a difference in children's lives just as those teachers did in mine," she explains. |
