“For it is in giving that we receive.” It is the generosity of decades of St. Francis supporters—parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents, faculty, and friends—that has allowed us to grow from a single preschool class in 1952 into one of the premier independent schools in the Houston area today. And we are grateful. For when you encounter a St. Francis student’s poise, confidence, kindness, intellect, and curiosity, you realize that your financial gift to the school truly does give back: through the lives of tomorrow’s leaders, entrepreneurs, artists, and humanitarians.
Like all independent schools, St. Francis Episcopal School must generate our own funding. While tuition serves as our primary source of revenue, it is not sufficient to cover the full cost of a St. Francis education. Charitable gifts are necessary to balance our annual budget; provide for long-term financial stability; and ensure that we continue to help our students realize the full power of their potential.
