Endowment

Endowment gifts provide for the long-term sustainability of St. Francis Episcopal School. Donors make charitable donations to the school with the understanding that the principle supports the general endowment or specific endowed fund in perpetuity. The St. Francis Board of Trustees oversees all investment by professional advisors, with a distribution of interest made annually to either the school’s operating budget or to specific areas designated by individual donors.

Independent schools have long recognized that growing robust endowments is the best way to reduce dependence on tuition while maintaining a competitive edge. Your gift to the St. Francis endowment will ensure that our high-caliber programs are available to students today and tomorrow.

Named Endowed Funds

St. Francis’s named endowed funds provide a special opportunity for donors to establish permanently dedicated funding sources in honor of the donor, a family member, a friend, or in memory of a loved one. The school has identified the following areas as funding priorities, but we also welcome your specific areas of interest.
