Woolrich Fund for Faculty
Inspired teaching. It’s often what spells the difference between a child who merely attends school and one who truly enjoys learning. The Sarah W. Woolrich Fund for Faculty, named for our school’s remarkable first principal, exists to expand the horizons of our teachers—who in turn are able to open our students’ eyes to the wonders that await beyond the classroom. Thanks to the Woolrich Fund, our teachers have stood before the art masters in Paris museums, participated in a dinosaur dig, walked through the Holy Land, and toured the Roman Empire. And, not surprisingly, they have carried home impassioned lessons in science, art, history, and religion to prove it.
The Woolrich Luncheon is held every Spring.
