The division offices, front offices, and nurses’ offices need help with administrative duties/activities such as lunch coverage, escorting Lower School students who arrive late and depart early, answering phones and checking in visitors at the front desk, cutting and laminating, and delivering carpool messages. Art à la Carte is a robust enrichment program for our K–8 curriculum. St. Francis maintains a large group of professionally trained volunteer docents who teach a continually updated curriculum covering the principles and elements of art and helping students learn about notable artists. Docents teach 4 -10 lessons throughout the school year, depending on the grade level, touching on painting, sculpture, and architecture tenets—often in a historical context. The curriculum is continually revised to align with the school’s history curriculum. Art à la Carte is included in the school’s standard academic offerings, and the program’s docents are considered adjunct faculty and must attend training in the spring and fall.  Applications open in the spring for the following school year. Chair is Stefanie Carper, AALC@StFrancisHouston.org

Girl Scout programs are for girls from kindergarten to Upper School (ages 5–18).  To join Girl Scouts and participate as a volunteer, please contact Allison Devlin, Director of Family Ministry for St. Francis Episcopal Church, adevlin@sfch.org or call 832-325-2988.

Cub Scout Pack 1703 programs are designed for boys and girls from kindergarten to fifth grade (ages 5–11).

Parent Ambassadors assist the Admissions Office, acting as greeters and tour guides for group admissions tours held in the fall and spring. They also follow up with prospective families at different points throughout the admissions process.

New Family Ambassadors help the Admissions Office onboard newly enrolled families from the spring throughout the summer, acclimating them to our community and arranging social events.
